\r\n Brief description of the research<\/summary>\r\n
\r\n

\r\n The research interest of Dr. Nenad Jankovi\u0107 is focused on the development of green and sustainable methods of organic synthesis, primarily for the preparation of Biginelli, as well as quinoxolinone, benzoxazinone and benzylidene derivatives.\nAll obtained derivatives were subjected to pharmacological and biological testing, whereby the most active compounds against certain tumors were identified, which are currently in the preliminary stages of preclinical testing.\nThe second part of the research relates to the synthesis and application of pharmacologically active ionic liquids.\nIn the following projects, the synthesis of a library of tetrahydropyrimidines as potential inhibitors of specific biological targets is planned.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/details>\r\n\r\n
