\r\n Brief description of the research<\/summary>\r\n\r\n
\r\n\r\n

\r\n Emilija Milovi\u0107 is engaged in the synthesis, characterization and investigation of the biological activities of\nselected aza-heterocyclic compounds. The focus is on the synthesis of tetrahydropyrimidines,\ntheir effects on cancer cell lines in vitro, as well as the investigation of\nmechanisms of action, pharmacokinetics and toxicity.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n

\r\n The research also includes examining the interactions of synthesized compounds with biomacromolecules\nsuch as DNA and serum albumin. In addition to anticancer activity, antimicrobial activity on various strains of bacteria and fungi is also analyzed.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n

\r\n In the synthesis process, special attention is paid to the application of the principles of green chemistry,\nsustainable methods and the elimination of the use of harmful solvents and catalysts.\nThe synthesis of new polymers based on tetrahydropyrimidine and the testing of\ntheir characteristics and potential applications are currently underway.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n <\/details>\r\n\r\n \r\n
