\r\n Brief description of the research<\/summary>\r\n
\r\n\r\n

\r\n Jovana's primary scientific research area is based on the study of the systematics\nand morphological-anatomical characteristics of fungi, with a special emphasis on macromycetes,\nas well as the presentation of their biological diversity on the territory of Serbia.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n

\r\n In addition to classical research that contributes to the expansion of knowledge about the diversity of fungi,\nhe is engaged in the analysis of the chemical composition of macromycetes and the assessment of their biomedical\npotential. The focus is on screening for antimicrobial, antioxidant,\nantihyperglycemic, neuroprotective and cytotoxic activities.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n

\r\n The goal of the research is to identify new biologically active substances of natural origin that may have applications in medicine and various industries.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/details>\r\n\r\n \r\n
