in Kragujevac<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><em>Continued support for the Institute\u2019s scientific development and research capacities<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p><p>Academician Bela Balint, Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, visited the Institute for Information Technologies in Kragujevac yesterday, where a meeting was held with the Institute\u2019s management.<\/p><p>During the meeting, the organizational structure, research capacities, and strategic development directions of the Institute were presented. The Institute\u2019s work is focused on the broad application of information technologies across various scientific fields. Special attention was given to the Institute\u2019s infrastructure and research capacities, as well as their role in the development of modern scientific and innovative solutions.<\/p><p>The Director of the Institute, Dr. Dalibor Nikoli\u0107, presented the process of the Institute\u2019s transformation, its scientific research directions, and key development priorities. He emphasized that the Institution\u2019s activities are focused on the application of information technologies and artificial intelligence in the development of therapeutic, agrobiological, and environmental solutions, with the aim of creating smart, sustainable, and efficient methods and processes.<\/p><p>Assistant Director Dr. \u017diko Milanovi\u0107 presented activities aimed at further enhancing scientific research and international cooperation, as well as the Institute\u2019s future development plans aligned with European standards and contemporary trends in science, technology, and innovation.<\/p><p>Minister Balint emphasized that the Ministry will continue to provide strong support for the further development of the Institute, as well as for strengthening its cooperation with other scientific and research institutions in Serbia and abroad.<\/p><p>Following the meeting, the Ministry\u2019s delegation, which included Acting Chief of Cabinet Sava Stamboli\u0107 and Special Advisors to the Minister Dr. Ivica \u0110alovi\u0107 and Aleksandar Teo Petrovi\u0107, visited the premises of the Center of Excellence in Kragujevac, which, in accordance with the adopted conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, will in the coming period become the new home of the Institute for Information Technologies in
