The Institute for Information Technologies Kragujevac marked its seventh anniversary with a ceremonial academy that brought together representatives of government institutions, the University of Kragujevac, research organizations, collaborators, partners, and friends of the Institute.<\/p>

The attendees were addressed by Acting Director Dr. Dalibor Nikoli\u0107, Assistant Director for Research Dr. \u017diko Milanovi\u0107, Rector of the University of Kragujevac Prof. Dr. Vladimir Rankovi\u0107, Member of the Kragujevac City Council for Education Du\u0161an Aleksi\u0107, and Representative of the Ministry of Education Prof. Dr. Janko Samard\u017ei\u0107.<\/p>

Particular emphasis was placed on the Institute\u2019s transition into a new phase of development focused on modernization, strengthening research capacities, and further positioning the Institute as a recognized center of scientific excellence. A significant part of the program was dedicated to the Centers of Excellence of the University of Kragujevac, within which the Institute has been allocated more than 600 square meters of modern laboratory space, creating additional opportunities for the development of interdisciplinary research and new scientific projects.<\/p>

During the ceremony, the Institute\u2019s most significant research achievements were presented, together with numerous national and international projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, biomedicine, chemistry, biology, and information technologies. A particularly noteworthy accomplishment is the fact that 13 Institute researchers are ranked among the top 10% of scientifically excellent researchers in the Republic of Serbia, according to the list published by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation. This achievement confirms the high quality of the Institute\u2019s research and its important role within the Serbian scientific community.<\/p>

The ceremony was complemented by a musical program featuring Elena Jankovi\u0107, a vocal performance student in the class of Professor Vojislav Spasi\u0107, and Milo\u0161 Milivojevi\u0107, an accordion student in the class of Professor Vladimir Blagojevi\u0107.<\/p>
