Programme<\/strong><\/p><p><em>Project in the field of scRNA-seq data analysis approved, with access to advanced cloud and HPC resources of the CINECA supercomputing centre in Italy<\/em><\/p><p>A project has been approved for Dr Marko \u017divanovi\u0107, Principal Research Fellow at the Institute for Information Technologies, within the European PRACE-FENIX 2025 programme. The project, entitled \u201cState-based analysis of human scRNA-seq data using RNA velocity\u201d, will enable the application of modern computational methods for the analysis of data obtained through single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), as well as the study of cell-state dynamics.<\/p><p>For the implementation of the project, resources of the GAIA Cloud platform of the CINECA supercomputing centre in Bologna, Italy, have been allocated. The approved resource allocation will enable the use of advanced cloud and HPC resources for the analysis of large datasets over a period of 12 months.<\/p><p>PRACE-FENIX is a European programme that provides researchers with access to advanced cloud and HPC infrastructures intended for scientific research and computationally demanding tasks, such as large-scale data analysis, simulations, and the application of artificial intelligence methods.
