University of Kragujevac<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>\u0422he project team led by Dr. Edina Avdovi\u0107 has been awarded funding by the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia. In addition to Dr. Avdovi\u0107, the team includes Dr. Du\u0161ica Simijonovi\u0107 from the Institute, as well as Dr. Du\u0161an Dimi\u0107 from the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade.<\/p><p>This achievement represents a significant step towards the development of the first start-up emerging from the Institute\u2019s research activities and its collaboration with industry. It also marks an important advancement in connecting scientific research with the needs of the business sector and in translating scientific results into practical applications. The project is based on many years of research and successful collaboration with the wine industry, which has enabled the research activities to be directed towards addressing specific challenges and needs of the business sector.<\/p><p>The collaboration is particularly significant due to its potential for further development and commercialization of research results. In this way, scientific knowledge and the solutions developed through research gain the opportunity to be applied beyond the academic environment, creating opportunities for their transfer to industry and the development of new innovative products and services.<\/p><p>The scientific and innovation potential of the research team has also been recognized through the support of relevant institutions in Serbia.
