Research at the Institute, participated in the international scientific conference \u201cSolutions in Chemistry \u2013 SiC 2026\u201d and the Summer Conference of the Croatian Chemical Society \u201cRijeka\u2013Pula \u2013 RiChem 2026\u201d, held from 1 to 5 September 2026 at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Drug Development in Rijeka, Republic of Croatia.<\/p><p>The conference brought together researchers, educators, students, and industry representatives from various fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, and related scientific disciplines. The joint program of the two scientific events provided an important forum for the exchange of scientific knowledge, ideas, and experience, as well as for fostering connections among experts from different fields. This year\u2019s conference was particularly significant as it marked the 100th anniversary of the Croatian Chemical Society, giving the event an additional historical and professional dimension.<\/p><p>The conference program focused on current challenges and developments in the chemical sciences, with particular emphasis on interdisciplinarity, innovation, and the application of chemistry in the fields of advanced materials, environmental protection, and sustainable technologies. Throughout the conference, the latest scientific achievements, research findings, and innovative solutions linking fundamental research with practical applications were presented.
