Истраживачком тиму Института чији је руководилац др Едина Авдовић, одобрено је финансирање пројекта од стране Фонда за иновациону делатност. Поред др Авдовић, члан тима је и др Душица Симијоновић са Института, као и др Душан Димић са Факултета за физичку хемију Универзитета у Београду.
Овај резултат представља значајан корак ка развоју првог стартапа проистеклог из истраживачког рада Института и сарадње са привредом и значајан искорак у процесу повезивања научноистраживачког рада са потребама привреде и применом научних резултата у пракси. Пројекат је заснован на вишегодишњем истраживачком раду и успешној сарадњи са винском индустријом, која је омогућила усмеравање научних истраживања ка решавању конкретних изазова и потреба привредног сектора.
Посебан значај ове сарадње огледа се у потенцијалу за даљи развој и комерцијализацију резултата истраживања. Научна знања и развијена решења на тај начин добијају могућност примене ван академског окружења, отварајући простор за њихов трансфер у привреду и стварање нових иновативних производа и услуга.
Научни и иновациони потенцијал истраживачког тима препознат је и кроз подршку релевантних институција у Србији. Чланови тима су претходно учествовали у реализацији више пројеката подржаних од стране Фонда за науку Републике Србије и Фонда за иновациону делатност, чиме је успостављен континуитет у развоју истраживачких и иновационих активности.

Funding Approved for the First Startup Emerging from Research at the Institute of Information Technologies, University of Kragujevac
Тhe project team led by Dr. Edina Avdović has been awarded funding by the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia. In addition to Dr. Avdović, the team includes Dr. Dušica Simijonović from the Institute, as well as Dr. Dušan Dimić from the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade.
This achievement represents a significant step towards the development of the first start-up emerging from the Institute’s research activities and its collaboration with industry. It also marks an important advancement in connecting scientific research with the needs of the business sector and in translating scientific results into practical applications. The project is based on many years of research and successful collaboration with the wine industry, which has enabled the research activities to be directed towards addressing specific challenges and needs of the business sector.
The collaboration is particularly significant due to its potential for further development and commercialization of research results. In this way, scientific knowledge and the solutions developed through research gain the opportunity to be applied beyond the academic environment, creating opportunities for their transfer to industry and the development of new innovative products and services.
The scientific and innovation potential of the research team has also been recognized through the support of relevant institutions in Serbia. The team members have previously participated in the implementation of several projects supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia and the Innovation Fund, thereby establishing continuity in the development of research and innovation activities.
