Brief description of the research

Strahinja Milenković's research focuses on the development of new smart materials, methods for their production and the analysis of their applications in biomedicine and beyond.

The focus of the work is particularly on piezoelectric materials, which, in addition to their application in sensor technology, due to their biocompatibility are increasingly being used in biomedical engineering, especially in the field of biosensors.

The research also includes the application of numerical and optimization methods in the design of these materials, with the aim of improving their functional properties and reliability in real-world conditions.
