Intensive training focused on Horizon Europe and the development of competitive project proposals
The month of March at the Institute for Information Technologies, University of Kragujevac, was dedicated to enhancing researchers’ capacities for project proposal development, with a particular focus on the Horizon Europe programme. Through intensive, multi-day training sessions organized by the European Training Academy (EUTA), participants had the opportunity to systematically develop their skills in project preparation.
During the training, researchers gained in-depth insights into the structure and requirements of Horizon Europe, analyzed current calls, and worked on shaping high-quality project ideas aligned with European funding standards. Special attention was given to drafting the core sections of proposals — Excellence, Impact, and Implementation.
The programme also covered key aspects such as consortium building, partner identification, budget planning, and project management fundamentals, all of which are essential for successful participation in international calls.
This initiative represents an important step in strengthening the Institute’s strategic research capacity and further positioning its researchers as competitive participants within the European Research Area.
