Dr. Žiko Milanović Among the World’s Top 2% Most Influential Scientists for the Second Consecutive Year
Continued excellence in scientific research recognized with another international distinction
It is with great pleasure and pride that we highlight another outstanding achievement of our colleague, Dr.. Žiko Milanović, Research Associate at the Institute for Information Technologies, University of Kragujevac, who has been ranked among the world’s top 2% most influential scientists for the second consecutive year, according to the latest Stanford/Elsevier database of standardized citation indicators (DOI: 10.17632/btchxktzyw.9).
The latest edition of the database includes data on scientific impact during 2025 and is based on information from the Scopus database. The ranking is based on standardized citation indicators, including the number of citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, and the composite c-score. Scientists are classified into 20 scientific fields and 174 subfields.
Dr. Milanović’s inclusion in this prestigious ranking for the second consecutive year represents significant recognition of the continuity, quality, and international visibility of his scientific research. This achievement confirms his exceptional dedication to science and the importance of his research within the contemporary scientific community.
Dr. Žiko Milanović conducts research in the field of theoretical and computational chemistry, with a particular focus on investigating the mechanisms of antioxidant activity of various compounds using quantum-chemical calculations, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics. His research contributes to a better understanding of the biological activity of the investigated compounds, the assessment of their inhibitory potential, and the rational design of new bioactive molecules.
Being ranked once again among the world’s top 2% most influential scientists confirms the continued quality, visibility, and relevance of Dr. Milanović’s scientific work and represents a significant achievement not only for him personally, but also for the Institute for Information Technologies and the University of Kragujevac.
We congratulate Dr. Žiko Milanović on another outstanding international recognition and wish him continued success in his scientific and research work!
