Director of the Institute – responsibilities

According to the Statute and relevant regulations.

1. manages the business of the Institute,
2. implements a financial plan,
3. represents and advocates the Institute,
4. implements the decisions of the Board of Directors,
5. submits a report on the Institute's business results to the Board of Directors,
6. proposes the basics of business policy, plans and programs, the Institute's work plan, the Institute's development plan and the program for their implementation,
7. proposes the Institute's annual financial plan and annual procurement plan,
8. proposes general acts of the Institute to be adopted by the Board of Directors,
9. concludes contracts on behalf of the Institute,
10. grants authorization to sign financial documentation,
11. adopts the Institute's acts and decisions within its competence,
12. is responsible for the implementation of investment and other funds received from the budget in accordance with the law,
13. adopts the Rulebook on internal organization and systematization of jobs,
14. decides on the assignment of employees to jobs in accordance with the Rules on Internal Organization and Systematization of Jobs,
15. makes decisions on employment and, if a competition is planned, on announcing the competition and selecting candidates,
16. coordinates the work of the Institute's organizational units,
17. proposes and decides on the Institute's cooperation with scientific organizations and institutions in the country and abroad,
18. decides on applications to budgetary and international funds and third parties,
19. decides on individual rights, obligations and responsibilities arising from the employment relationship in accordance with the law,
20. decides on the disciplinary liability of employees in accordance with the law,
21. makes a decision on a trade secret, in accordance with the Rules,
22. performs other tasks stipulated by law, other regulations, the Statute and other general acts of the Institute.
