Dr Vladimir Simić
Brief description of the research
The main scientific spheres and areas of research are computational mechanics, the application of the finite element method, as well as the development and application of distributed models in the field of bioengineering. Also, an important aspect of research is the development and application of distributed methodology within the framework of diffusion, convective transport, as well as mechanical behavior within large biological systems and the development of computational models using the finite element method for drug delivery within tumors.
In parallel with the previously mentioned areas, he also deals with the implementation of the finite element method in pre-processing software (PAK), as well as the development of software for post-processing and display of simulation results.
