Brief description of the research
Lazar Milović is engaged in the synthesis, characterization and testing of biological activities of newly synthesized heterocyclic compounds.
The focus of the research is on the synthesis and characterization of pyrido-dipyrimidines, as well as examining their pharmacological potential in the treatment of cancer, antimicrobial activity, and the nature of interactions with DNA and serum albumin.
The synthesis process applies the principles of green chemistry with the aim of developing more environmentally friendly approaches to organic synthesis.
