Researcher Trainee – Technical and Technological Sciences

The Institute of Information Technologies is recruiting for fellowships to engage in multidisciplinary research in the fields of information science, artificial intelligence, computer and mathematical modeling, data analysis and processing. Research activities include the development and application of modern information technologies in scientific, engineering and industrial systems, with a focus on solving complex real-world problems through the integration of algorithmic, software and analytical approaches.

Key activities

Fellows will be involved in the following activities:

participation in multidisciplinary scientific research and development projects
analysis of research problems and definition of computational and algorithmic solutions
development, implementation and testing of software tools, applications and research prototypes
collection, processing and analysis of complex and extensive data sets
application of artificial intelligence, machine learning and statistical analysis methods
development of numerical, simulation and computer models of complex systems
validation, optimization and interpretation of research results
visualization of data and analysis results
participation in the preparation of technical documentation, reports and scientific publications
cooperation with researchers of various profiles and participation in teamwork

Required qualifications and skills

Applicants should possess appropriate education and competencies for research work in the field of information technology.

Completed master's degree in computer science, technical and technological sciences or related engineering sciences
enrolled in doctoral (academic) studies in technical and technological fields
solid knowledge of programming languages, programming tools and development environments
Knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, and mathematical and computational modeling is desirable (but not required).
ability to work in a multidisciplinary and research team
good knowledge of English in written and oral communication
Strong research motivation, developed communication skills, creativity and ability to work independently
