Brief description of the research

Miloš Pešić's research is focused on the development of devices and methodologies for experimental testing of materials at different deformation rates, with a special emphasis on the behavior of materials at high deformation rates.

It deals with experimental testing of the influence of differently formed stress waves on the deformation of materials, as well as numerical and experimental testing of the effect of the shock wave of an explosion.

The area of interest includes both numerical and experimental testing of projectile penetration through a barrier, as well as experimental determination of the critical ballistic velocity of the projectile.
