Др Ана Рилак Симовић, помоћник директора за научно-истраживачки рад Института, учествовала је на међународној научној конференцији „Solutions in Chemistry – SiC 2026“ и Летњој конференцији Хрватског хемијског друштва „Rijeka–Pula – RiChem 2026“, које су одржане од 1. до 5. септембра 2026. године на Факултету биотехнологије и развоја лекова у Ријеци, Републици Хрватској.
Конференција је окупила истраживаче, наставнике, студенте и представнике индустрије из различитих области хемије, хемијског инжењерства и сродних научних дисциплина. Заједнички програм два научна скупа представљао је значајан форум за размену научних знања, идеја и искустава, као и за повезивање стручњака из различитих области. Посебан значај овогодишњем скупу дало је обележавање 100 година постојања Хрватског хемијског друштва, чиме је конференција добила додатну историјску и стручну димензију.
Програм конференције био је усмерен на савремене изазове и развој хемијских наука, са посебним акцентом на интердисциплинарност, иновације и примену хемије у областима напредних материјала, заштите животне средине и одрживих технологија. Током конференције представљена су најновија научна достигнућа, истраживачки резултати и савремена решења која повезују фундаментална истраживања са практичном применом. Посебна пажња била је посвећена размени искустава између академске заједнице и индустрије, развоју нових сарадњи и трансферу знања и технологија.
Учешће др Ане Рилак Симовић на овом међународном научном скупу представља значајан допринос међународној научној сарадњи Института и пружа могућност за размену искустава са истраживачима из региона и света, као и за сагледавање нових праваца развоја и потенцијала за будуће научне пројекте и сарадњу.

Dr. Ana Rilak Simović, Assistant Director for Scientific Research at the Institute, participated in the international scientific conference “Solutions in Chemistry – SiC 2026” and the Summer Conference of the Croatian Chemical Society “Rijeka–Pula – RiChem 2026”, held from 1 to 5 September 2026 at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Drug Development in Rijeka, Republic of Croatia.
The conference brought together researchers, educators, students, and industry representatives from various fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, and related scientific disciplines. The joint program of the two scientific events provided an important forum for the exchange of scientific knowledge, ideas, and experience, as well as for fostering connections among experts from different fields. This year’s conference was particularly significant as it marked the 100th anniversary of the Croatian Chemical Society, giving the event an additional historical and professional dimension.
The conference program focused on current challenges and developments in the chemical sciences, with particular emphasis on interdisciplinarity, innovation, and the application of chemistry in the fields of advanced materials, environmental protection, and sustainable technologies. Throughout the conference, the latest scientific achievements, research findings, and innovative solutions linking fundamental research with practical applications were presented. Attention was also devoted to the exchange of experience between academia and industry, the development of new collaborations, and the transfer of knowledge and technologies.
Dr. Ana Rilak Simović’s participation in this international scientific event represents a valuable contribution to the Institute’s international scientific cooperation. It provided an opportunity to exchange experiences with researchers from the region and beyond, as well as to explore new directions for development and potential opportunities for future scientific projects and collaboration.
