Др Владимир Симић представио је наш Институт на састанку уредничке заједнице из Србије, који је организовао часопис International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS), у просторијама MDPI Serbia у Београду.
Састанак је окупио чланове уредничког одбора часописа из Србије, пружајући прилику за размену искустава, идеја и мишљења о актуелним питањима научног издаваштва и даљем развоју часописа. Том приликом су представници MDPI Serbia, Јелена Ромчевић и Катарина Бојковић, заједно са Jessie Li, представили активности MDPI групе у Србији, досадашње резултате и достигнућа часописа, као и планове за наредни период.
Посебна пажња током састанка била је посвећена могућностима додатне подршке научној заједници у Србији, развоју тематских, односно специјалних издања, као и унапређењу квалитета и ефикасности процеса рецензије. Конструктивна дискусија омогућила је размену различитих перспектива и искустава међу члановима уредничке заједнице и допринела даљем повезивању локалне научноистраживачке заједнице.
Др Владимир Симић је истакао да је састанак протекао у веома садржајној, конструктивној и пријатној атмосфери, као и значај оваквих сусрета за јачање сарадње између истраживача, чланова уредничких одбора и научних издавача.
Наш Институт остаје посвећен активној сарадњи и размени знања са релевантним партнерима, са циљем унапређења научне комуникације, видљивости истраживачких резултата и квалитета научног рада.
Захваљујемо се домаћинима на гостопримству и одличној организацији састанка, а посебно се радујемо прилици да ускоро будемо домаћини представницима MDPI Serbia и наставимо размену идеја и разговоре о будућим заједничким иницијативама.

Institute Participation in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences Editorial Community Meeting
Dr. Vladimir Simić represented our Institute at a meeting of the Serbian editorial community organized by the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS) at the MDPI Serbia office in Belgrade.
The meeting brought together members of the journal’s Editorial Board from Serbia, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences, ideas, and perspectives on current topics in scientific publishing and the future development of the journal. On this occasion, representatives of MDPI Serbia, Jelena Romcevic and Katarina Bojković, together with Jessie Li, presented MDPI’s activities in Serbia, the journal’s achievements and progress to date, as well as plans for the period ahead.
Particular attention was devoted to opportunities for providing further support to the Serbian scientific community, strategies for the development of thematic and Special Issues, and ways to enhance the quality and efficiency of the peer-review process. The constructive discussion enabled members of the editorial community to exchange different perspectives and experiences, while also contributing to stronger connections within the local research community.
Dr. Vladimir Simić highlighted the informative, constructive, and pleasant atmosphere of the meeting, as well as the importance of such gatherings in strengthening collaboration among researchers, Editorial Board members, and scientific publishers.
Our Institute remains committed to active collaboration and knowledge exchange with relevant partners, with the aim of advancing scientific communication, increasing the visibility of research results, and contributing to the quality of scientific research.
